Job summary

McKinsey & Company in Paris seeks a data engineer to build foundational data infrastructure powering AI apps. You design scalable pipelines, secure data environments, and prep data for AI-driven systems in collaboration with data scientists and engineers.

You will contribute to next-generation AI capabilities, translate hypotheses into features, and work within cross-functional Agile teams across industries while growing as a client-facing technologist.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in a data-focused role (internships or projects).
• Proficient in Python and SQL with clean, documented code.
• Interest in AI data engineering, generative AI and BI across data types.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, and cloud platforms.
• Exposure to DevOps/MLOps concepts and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent time management in autonomous environments.
• Willingness to learn quickly in varied tech stacks.
• Experience with coding agents is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French, verbal and written.
