Une entreprise leader dans les solutions polymères recherche un Ingénieur d'application industrielle pour apporter un soutien technique et développer des solutions d'étanchéité pour ses clients. Le candidat idéal aura un diplôme technique, au moins 2 ans d'expérience, et maîtrisera le français et l'anglais. Des compétences interpersonnelles solides et une attitude axée sur le client sont également essentielles. Ce rôle offre la possibilité de travailler dans un environnement moderne et flexible, avec deux jours de télétravail possibles par semaine.

Qualifications

• 2+ années d'expérience dans un domaine lié à l'ingénierie.
• Connaissance des normes IATF 16949 dans l'industrie automobile.
• Expérience avec des produits en caoutchouc/plastique et connaissances applicatives dans des segments de marché spécifiques.

Responsabilités

• Fournir un soutien technique pour développer des solutions d'étanchéité.
• Être le point de contact pour toutes les questions techniques des clients.
• Gérer les évaluations d'étanchéité et fournir des suggestions d'améliorations.

We're looking for an Industrial Application Engineer with strong technical knowledge to support our customers and help maintain and grow existing business. You'll act as a key technical contact, working closely with both internal teams and customer engineers to find the right sealing solutions.

You will :

• Provide engineering support for managed accounts in order to develop sealing solutions, considering technical and economic aspects
• Be point of contact for the customer (design or R&D) for all technical questions with the aim of building a multilevel network with the customer
• Maintain close contact and alignment with other BU´s (e.g., manufacturing sites, R&D, SCM..)
• Fully understand the customer's applications and explain the benefits of our sealing portfolio with their excellent technical skills and customized solutions (application-specific material compounds, quality related requirements, etc.)
• Initiate RFQ, as well as handle technical complaint and material compliance
• Provide market feedback to identify innovation trends in order to further improve our sealing portfolio
• Perform product and technical trainings
• Support preparation of and / or participate in customer visits and fairs
• Handle sealing evaluations to provide suggestions for improvements to customers application
• Lead article data management and perform industrialization of design solutions (quality planning, item creation non-standard, etc.)
• Approve technical drawings, customer specifications and documentations, start process for routing and storage in alignment with all involved parties

What You bring :

• Technical school degree or equivalent (Mechanical Engineering or Technical Education preferred)
• Preferably 2+ years of work experience in engineering related field
• Knowledge about core tools, processes & norms in Automotive industry like IATF 16949 standard (Automotive Area)
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and terminology, as well as large technical expertise and knowledge of mechanical system
• Proficiency in French and English
• Customer driven with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask with attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of rubber / plastic products, seals and bearings is beneficial
• Application knowledge within specified market segments is beneficial
• Familiarity with ISO quality requirements is beneficial
