Barrington James is seeking an In Vivo Team Lead in France to head and grow the preclinical in vivo research function. You will manage a team of in vivo scientists, provide scientific leadership, and drive delivery of high-quality preclinical studies to support ongoing programmes.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience in in vivo research, and the ability to mentor staff while collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance the company’s preclinical objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience leading preclinical in vivo teams in biotech/pharma.
• Proven ability to train, mentor and develop scientists.
• Experience growing a scientific function or team.
• Deep knowledge of in vivo study design, execution and data interpretation.
• Experience in regulated preclinical environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the in vivo research team in day-to-day operations.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance across preclinical in vivo programmes.
• Recruit, onboard and mentor new team members as the function grows.
• Oversee planning, execution and interpretation of in vivo studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support preclinical programmes.
• Develop and improve protocols, processes and ways of working.
