Job summary

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) offers a 6-month internship in the Loans & Social Development Directorate based in Paris. You will support identification, appraisal, and coordination of Framework Loan Agreements under the Bank's social mandate.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates or final-year students in economics, finance, or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past 24 months or currently enrolled in the final academic year (master's level preferred).
• Studies in economics, finance, management, business administration, social sciences or related fields.
• Excellent command of English or French; working knowledge of the other language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Advance financing projects through Identification and Appraisal phases and draft Framework Loan Agreements.
• Provide analytical support for daily Projects Division tasks (planning, communication).
• Carry out research on project-related topics relevant to the L&D Directorate.
• Monitor work of other international organisations and relevant institutions.
• Draft input material for presentations and reports.
• Provide ad hoc support and assist with official country visits of CEB Organs.
