About the role

As a Regulatory Senior Associate at Essential Home, your regulatory expertise becomes a pivotal part of our business's success. In this role, you won't just be part of the process — you'll lead it, making strategic decisions that influence the direction and achievements of our brand. Your responsibilities
  • Lead and drive the resolution of regulatory and product safety issues affecting Essential Home products in the region.
  • Provide regulatory support and consultancy to internal and external customers in a business-oriented way (including induction, training, etc).
  • In partnership with the wider Essential Home Regulatory team, define and maintain departmental policies, guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure regulatory operations are executed in line with them.Active participation in the development and implementation of best practices across the regulatory organisation.
  • Be a source of proposition to improve our products and processes; for example, propose new claims, etc.
  • Ensure enquiries by regulatory authorities are handled professionally and swiftly.
  • Able to manage and develop a small team of junior regulatory professional if required.
The experience we're looking for
  • Degree in natural sciences, preferably Chemistry, Biochemistry.
  • More than 3 years in FMCG Reg Affairs or regulatory agency or FMCG R&D.
  • Strong understanding of the local relevant Regulatory landscape.
  • Good understanding of the EU Chemical and detergents legislation, eg. CLP, Detergent Regulatory, BPR.
  • Experience in product registration, Product development and Life Cycle Management.
  • Experience in Quality Management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English – a significant amount of communication in English with international colleagues is expected.
  • Experienced with all standard software applications (MS-Office etc.)
  • Experience with risk assessments of consumer goods.
