Job Description

An opportunity titled "IM Responsible for WEB Applications (m / f)" has opened within Airbus Helicopters, based in Marignane, France. You will join the AH Information Management Directorate, called “Digital” within Airbus, within our team “Spares, MRO and Training”. Our team works with a variety of technologies, from custom-developed solutions to commercial off-the-shelf installations and maintenance.

You will be responsible for several applications:

• The primary application, developed in Angular, is used by customers and Airbus Helicopters employees to manage the parts repair process.
• Another Angular-based application provides digital logcards for customers and industry.

Depending on your profile and seniority, additional missions may be assigned. You will be accountable for the end-to-end availability and performance of these applications, including interface management, and will participate in or lead upcoming projects to adapt them. Working closely with the business, you will provide roadmaps and gather customer requirements, ensuring the ongoing operation and evolution of your applications.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The mission of the IM application responsible is to:

• Ensure the availability and proper functioning of applications to meet operational Service Level Agreements, including monitoring interfaces through collaboration with other IM colleagues (hosting, network, etc.).
• Lead projects related to your applications, considering time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Manage risks and opportunities.
• Challenge developments made by subcontractors or execute some development tasks yourself.
• Manage cyber risks in collaboration with the IM security department.
• Understand business needs and strategic objectives, proposing suitable IT solutions via standard software, specific solutions, or cloud-based architecture.
• Maintain the product roadmap aligned with Enterprise Architecture, Digital strategy, and objectives.
• Participate in Airbus group initiatives and lead technical exchanges.
• Define and implement the appropriate IT Make or Buy strategy for your products.
• Manage partners and suppliers effectively.
• Define and lead continuous improvement plans.
• Simplify processes wherever possible.

Competencies, Methods & Tools

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and experience:

• At least 5 years of experience as an IM application responsible or IM project leader.
• Experience managing partners and external service providers.
• Negotiation skills with internal customers.
• Strong focus on people, quality, planning, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work within a team with transparency and mutual support.
• Rigorous, autonomous, team-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Experience with Angular and SQL is a significant advantage.
