Senior EIA Engineer: Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation

Job summary

XRbentsh is seeking an EIA Engineer (Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation) to join the projects team at a chemical production site in Normandy. You will lead EIA studies and projects from design through commissioning, with an electrical or automation focus depending on your background.

You will carry out engineering deliverables, size installations, and define control architectures while coordinating with process, maintenance and operations teams on a classified industrial site.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or automation.
• 8+ years of EIA experience in process industries (chemicals, petrochemicals, refining).
• Hands-on field background and project/maintenance experience valued.
• Familiarity with NF C standards and ATEX is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EIA studies and deliver engineering outputs.
• Size installations, draw single line diagrams, and perform ELEC CALC calculations.
• Define control system architectures and specify PLCs/ DCS.
• Write technical specs and follow up bid evaluations.
• Supervise site works, testing and commissioning with safety compliance.
• Coordinate interfaces with process, maintenance and operations teams.
