GDTech France is seeking a Hydraulic Equipment Systems Engineer to contribute to the development, qualification and in-service support of hydraulic equipment integrated into fuel and oil systems for aerospace clients.

You will translate system requirements into detailed specifications, manage suppliers, oversee design validation and draft technical justification documents in line with DO-160 and CS-APU regulations.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or 5-year post-baccalaureate in mechanical/hydraulic/energy/aero engineering
• Experience in fluid equipment or systems in aerospace or regulated sectors
• Knowledge of the V-model product development cycle
• Familiar with DO-160 and CS-APU regulations

Responsabilités

• Specification and supplier management (Build-To-Spec)
• Translate system requirements into detailed technical specifications for hydraulic equipment
• Provide technical oversight of suppliers throughout development and ensure milestones
• Review and approve all design, justification and qualification deliverables
• System integration and validation of equipment in fuel/oil systems
• Draft system justification documents to show compliance with requirements
• Define validation strategies, test programmes and oversee tests
• Manage specification changes and related technical justification documents
• Participate in root cause analyses and corrective actions
