What you'll do

As an Athletic Territory Representative for Pioneer Athletics , you will:

  • Work with Professional Sports Teams, College & High School Athletic Departments as a member of the #1 Resource for Professionals in the Sports Turf and Athletic Field Maintenance Industry.
  • Work with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, Sports Stadium Managers, Groundskeepers & Sports Turf Managers, Parks & Recreation Directors, and Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisors as they make important decisions regarding their Athletic Fields and Athletic Facilities.
  • Work closely with our Sales Management Team in a professional, structured, and disciplined consultative sales training & product training program.
  • Work closely with a mentor and a Professional Sales & Product Training Staff in a Stable, Personalized, and Structured Environment.

Qualifications

*FIELD and PHONE SALES EXPERIENCE, which must include new account development, account maintenance, and travel within a specific geographical territory. Experience in the sports turf industry or athletic sales is helpful but not required.

This candidate will INHERIT OUR ALREADY PROFITABLE & PROTECTED ACCOUNTS .

In addition to an outstanding wage, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package , including health, dental, life insurance, and a generous 401(k) Retirement Plan. This territory is also eligible for quarterly and annual bonus dollars.


A realistic 1st-year income is $72,300.00. Most of our Sales Representatives earn significantly more following the successful completion of our 2-year training program.


To qualify for this position, you must reside and have lived in the Lubbock / Western Texas area for at least one year .

Qualified candidates must have a satisfactory driving record.

Preferred candidates must:


  • have resided in the Lubbock / Western Texas area for at least one year;
  • be willing to travel into different areas throughout Western Texas, daily, to visit with customers;
  • possibility of travel overnight, one night per month;
  • have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record and;
  • have at least six months of experience in field/territory sales
