Sonepar in Paris is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure quality at every stage of delivery, leveraging automation, AI-assisted testing, and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate innovation and reduce risk.

You will report to the QA Director, work in a digital factory with 300+ professionals worldwide, and participate in evolving QA processes. The role offers a hybrid work model after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintaining their reliability.
• Proficiency in English, enabling effective collaboration in an international environment.
• Openness to AI-supported tools and practices to improve testing, automation, or productivity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or large-scale digital platforms is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act as a Quality Engineer within a delivery team, contributing to product quality and delivery confidence.
• Define acceptance criteria, identify risks early, and drive risk-based testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests (E2E, API, functional) integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing when required for complex or high-risk features.
• Investigate test failures, analyse root causes, and drive corrective action.
• Support release readiness, regression scope definition, and quality sign-off.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, architects, and fellow QE.
• Evolve QA processes, standards, metrics, and shared automation practices.
• Participate in cross-team quality initiatives, including test observability and AI-assisted testing.
