Job summary

Digital Waffle in Besançon, France, is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to safeguard technology solutions across complex environments. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office and requires strong cybersecurity experience supported by knowledge of risk management, security controls and policy compliance.

You will identify risks, conduct assessments, work with IT and engineering teams, and help embed security best practices while communicating with technical and business

Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, information security or security specialist roles.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, risk management and security controls.
• Experience conducting security assessments and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with security policies, compliance requirements and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities.
• Support the implementation and improvement of security policies, procedures and controls.
• Conduct security assessments and contribute to risk mitigation activities.
• Help ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work with IT, engineering and business teams to integrate security into systems and projects.
• Support incident response, security investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Produce security documentation, reports and recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
