A leading IT consultancy is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer in Lyon to optimize their Azure platform. The position offers a three-day onsite schedule, with potential for contract extension until year-end.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD tools necessary.
• Strong knowledge in Linux systems and administration.
• Proven ability to lead training sessions and work collaboratively.

Glocomms is working with an IT consultancy that is seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join their Infrastructure department. In this role, you will play a key part in optimizing and evolving their Azure platform. As the go-to expert for Azure-related topics, you will lead architectural design for new projects, provide advanced technical support, and empower the team through training and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design & Implementation

• Design and implement infrastructure for new projects (Design, Proof of Concept, Design Acceptance Testing)
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance in all Azure-based solutions

Technical Support & Operations

• Provide Level 3 support for Azure-related issues
• Maintain operational readiness and compliance within the Azure Landing Zone
• Administer and optimize Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD pipelines

Team Enablement & Training

• Lead training sessions on Azure managed services to upskill internal teams
• Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for Azure technologies

System Administration

• Manage and maintain Linux environments
• Oversee GitLab administration and integration with CI/CD workflows

Technical Environment

• Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
