Customs Support Group in Lyon is building and deploying AI solutions that automate customs processes. You will turn business needs into scalable, compliant agentic AI systems and work closely with Operations, IT and Group teams.

This role emphasizes delivering reliable models for operations staff, with focus on retrieval, tool use, and multi-step workflows, while ensuring privacy and EU AI Act compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years AI engineering or intelligent automation experience.
• Strong Python and SQL with production code ownership.
• Experience integrating large language models into production systems.
• Experience with at least one cloud AI platform (Azure, AWS, or Google).
• Solid backend fundamentals: APIs, data pipelines, CI/CD.
• Fluent English and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Develop and customise AI solutions from prototype to production ownership.
• Self-learn to use generative AI to build agents.
• Identify automation opportunities across customs and business processes.
• Design solutions using generative AI, retrieval, tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Own evaluation and define success criteria before shipping.
• Manage pilots and implementation with clear kill/scale criteria.
• Monitor performance, cost, latency and business impact.
• Collaborate with local teams and group functions.
• Ensure privacy, security and AI governance compliance.
