Our Company

A global pharmaceutical and biotechnology company providing research, development and commercialization of prescription medicines.

We are proud to be able to expand our team in Dunkirk in France and we are global partners with Airswift who support and deliver our recruitment needs.

We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Piping Engineer to be placed in Dunkirk, France and would be on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the technical assessment of critical equipment suppliers/contractors and provide selection recommendations
  • Ensure handover requirements are documented.
  • Work with Construction Contractor to finalise the execution design, translating technical requirements into Engineering deliverables.
  • Ensure key GMP compliance requirements are reflected in the design deliverables
  • Provide the VISA code on the documentation submitted by the Construction company within 5 working days
  • Work closely with Construction Contractor to finalise the execution design, lead the translation of Customer needs into Engineering requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to safety risk assessment activities to ensure alignment with SHE requirements and ensure appropriate mitigations are included in the design.
  • Ensure specific technical solutions are consistent with Customer, cost and schedule requirements.
  • Provide technical support to system Commissioning and Qualification activities.
  • Review and approve FATs, SATs, DQ, IQ and OQ protocols for GMP and critical GEP systems (as required).
  • Attend relevant pre-FATs, FATs, mechanical completion inspections & SATs to assure completeness and correctness of equipment packages.
  • Provide technical approval to release critical packages from the Supplier’s facility to site in line
  • Provide technical approval to commence commissioning and qualification activities
  • Provide technical approval for critical packages to commence commissioning and then commence qualification activities.
  • Provide technical support for the Take-Over, Process Qualification and Establishment batch production, as defined in Hyper Care strategy.
  • Technical direction and leadership to ensure the appropriate specification, design, supplier selection and delivery of critical technical packages in line with requirements.
  • Technical support to the receiving organisation to ensure that specified performance criteria are met during start-up and early operation.





Skills / Qualifications
  • Mechanical Engineering Masters degree
  • Experience in HVAC and black utilities systems
  • Familiar with pharma projects (i.e. GMP classification)
  • French speaking
