Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician required.
• Must have EPA Universal Certification and TS/SCI clearance.

Job Description

Must have active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance

This position is contingent upon contract award

1. Installing, maintaining, and repairing critical HVAC systems such as chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, compressors, hot and chilled water pumps, CRAC units, exhaust fans, etc.
2. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment
3. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
4. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
5. Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions
6. Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
7. Understanding advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, brazing, and soldering
8. Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets using hand and power tools
9. Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols
10. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
11. Proficient in reading schematics and work plans
12. Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
13. Ability to work after hours, weekends, public holidays, and possible shift work to ensure 24-hour HVAC coverage
14. Must work safely utilizing all required PPE, site safety plans, and safe work practices
15. Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

1. Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship
2. 4+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician
3. High School diploma or GED

Other Job Requirements

1. Must have active (or ability to obtain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance
2. EPA Universal Certification
3. U.S. Citizen
