ABOUT THE JOB

Our Team:

The Global Sustainability team is seeking an experienced Lead to serve as Sanofi CHC’s subject matter expert on human rights and responsible sourcing. This role involves managing relevant workstreams, developing partnerships across the business to minimize risks, and driving positive impacts for communities affected by Sanofi CHC’s operations. The Lead will:

  1. Develop and oversee Sanofi CHC’s global strategy on human rights and responsible sourcing, ensuring alignment with UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, compliance with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, and public targets across the full value chain. The focus will be on high-risk areas.
  2. Manage the implementation of policies, human rights due diligence, grievance mechanisms, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, including compliance disclosures like CSRD and ratings/rankings.
  3. Integrate environmental initiatives, such as supply chain emissions reductions, into the responsible sourcing approach.
  4. Collaborate with departments such as Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Legal, EHS, and HR to develop strategies, policies, and implementation tools.
  5. Create communication and training materials for internal teams and suppliers.
  6. Coordinate governance to ensure continuous improvement of the program.

ABOUT YOU

We believe the ideal candidate will have:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., responsible supply chain, corporate responsibility, sustainability, human rights). An advanced degree is a plus.

Skills/Experience

8+ years of relevant experience in corporate human rights management and responsible sourcing, either in consulting or in-house roles. Strong understanding of human and labor rights standards. Experience working with international teams. Healthcare or FMCG industry experience is preferred.

Organizational Skills

Excellent multitasking, stakeholder management, and attention to detail. High accountability for work quality.

Communication

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.

Impact Orientation

Proactive, strategic mindset with the ability to work efficiently and meet milestones.

Languages

Proficiency in English is required; French is preferred but not mandatory.
