HR Manager – Pharma Manufacturing (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong background in operational HR and a deep understanding of French labour law? Do you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments and enjoy partnering closely with site leadership teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

About the Role:

We are seeking an HR Manager to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing hub in Strasbourg on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As the key HR partner on-site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance with French labour regulations, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as a strategic HR partner to the site leadership team, providing expert advice on HR policies, workforce planning, and employee relations.
  2. Ensure compliance with French labour laws, industry regulations, and company HR policies.
  3. Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  4. Oversee employee relations, managing conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  5. Support training and development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.
  6. Implement and improve HR processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement within the site workforce.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of French labour law and HR best practices.
  3. Experience managing employee relations, compliance, and operational HR functions.
  4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  5. Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (preferred).
