Phénicia Conseil for a company located in French Guiana and subsidiary of a multinational group specializing in renewable energy and world leader in its sector is looking for a :

Harvesting Manager (M / F) - Forestry

Permanent Contract (CDI) Lac de Petit Saut, French Guiana - NO REMOTE-NO HYBRIDE

Role : The primary objective of this position is to coordinate harvesting activities, ensure the operation of floating equipment on Lac de Petit Saut, and achieve production targets while adhering to environmental plans.

Main Responsibilities :

• Execute the harvest plan as approved by management.
• Monitor exploitation areas before and during operations.
• Effectively communicate production and downtime statistics.
• Meet daily production targets and track performance indicators.
• Maximize machine uptime by coordinating daily activities related to harvesting operations.
• Collaborate with and alert the SHARC mechanic regarding machine maintenance and breakdowns.
• Welcome, integrate, train, and develop the skills of personnel under your responsibility.
• Ensure the recruitment of staff within your scope and monitor working hours in compliance with legislation and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with internal regulations and policies, particularly regarding Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Technical Skills :

• Higher education degree and / or at least 10 years of experience in forest management.
• Proficiency in computer tools (Excel, Office suite, etc.) and Windows environments.
• Proven team management and performance management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the engineering team.
• Possession of an "inland waters" boat license and CACES R482 category B1.
• Fluent English required (minimum TOEIC level B2), French as a Plus!
• Leadership and ability to mobilize and motivate teams.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on relatively isolated sites.
