Overview

Organises the onsite maintenance operations related to maintenance of safety equipment. Assists the planning team by providing technical support for job preparation in his discipline. Assists vendors on site for surveys or occasional services related to safety equipment. Ensures that COMPANY’S HSE regulations are respected during maintenance operations. Supports and develops HSE skills on site. Develops safety procedures for the safe execution of work. Takes in charge of safety equipment in case of breakdown until correct operation status is restored. Monitors the status of all safety equipment.

Methods
  • Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyzes them and suggests improvements.
  • Warns support teams of recurring problems related to spare parts availability or quality.
  • Suggests improvements and requests modifications.
  • Monitors the functioning of safety equipment by following key parameters of the packages.
Quality Assurance
  • Verifies the quality of interventions by frequent on-site checks.
Profile

The holder of this position must have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum NEBOSH IGC (or equivalent recognized certification).
  • 10+ years HSE experience, including minimum 3 years supervisory level in maintenance project or during erection and commissioning.
  • Demonstrated risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance skills.
  • Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organizational ability.
