Description du poste

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will report to the Senior HR Business Partner Europe & APAC and will act as a trusted advisor supporting approximately 50 – 100 employees.

The role is responsible for providing a strong HR service and support to both business clients as well as supporting the Global and Local HR agenda. Responsible for the implementation of our policies, processes and procedures, this role will manage complex and sensitive day-do-day people management and employee relations issues. Drive improved service delivery and support the Senior HR BP with projects. The role requires an excellent knowledge of all core and operational HR related topics impacting the employee life cycle including Employee Relations, Performance Management and Immigration.

Areas of Accountability

  • Delivery of the HR Employee life cycle
  • Serve as a key contact for employees addressing their HR queries and concerns effectively
  • Work proactively with the client group on employee relations issues
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and guidance aligned with local legislation and business objectives assisting the Senior HR BP as legislation changes Provides analytical support from Oracle reports
  • Support, influence, develop and coach people managers to manage employment issues
  • Advise on absence management and occupational health issues, seeking specialist advice as appropriate
  • Oversee all Oracle related activities for clients
  • Advise line managers on probation, absence management, performance and management issues
  • Advise your client groups on the impact of employee contract amendments and ensure all amendments are approved in accordance with delegated authority
  • Coach, guide and mentor line managers and senior leaders in their HR leadership functions and responsibilities.
  • Build, develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand current HR priorities and associated risks
  • Support Line Managers with the annual compensation process; by understanding the guidelines; offer guidance to managers on effective allocation across business areas, while providing constructive feedback and support to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Other projects as directed such as Employee Transfers, Talent Acquisition etc.

Skills / Experience

  • Experience as a HRBP with leadership capability
  • Experience of conducting investigations and managing employee relations challenges
  • Solid understanding of France employment law
  • Highly commercial preferably in fast paced and high growth environment
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships and work collaboratively with leaders at all levels
  • High levels of trust, integrity, team spirit, attention to detail, and a pragmatic approach.
  • Excellent communication skills : written and verbal, including a high level of attention to detail.
  • Fluency in French & English required, interviews will be in both languages.

Professional / Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in HR Systems, preferably Oracle HCM
  • Excellent technology skills, specifically Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to influence others and handle conflict
  • Proven experience and exposure in handling sensitive employee relations and dismissal situations
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset with a strong capacity to innovate in HR processes.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative, is a good team player
  • Has an eye for detail and whilst aligning with policy is able to use judgment
