Title : HR Generalist

Location : Aix-En-Provence, France

Job Description : Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with 5-8 years in HR roles, particularly in multicultural and multinational environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in payroll management, benefits, compliance, and various HR functions, with an ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Payroll Management : Execute detailed payroll processes, ensure accuracy, and facilitate external payroll partner audits as required.
  • Benefits Management : Oversee benefits administration and collaborate with external partners.
  • Labor Compliance : Ensure compliance with French labor regulations.
  • Immigration Support : Manage immigration processes, documentation, and liaise with external lawyers and authorities.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding : Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
  • Performance & Goal Management : Support performance appraisal processes and goal setting for employees. Develop and maintain competency matrices.
  • Training : Deliver training sessions in English and assist the VP People with structuring training content.
  • HR Analytics : Analyze HR KPIs and support HR analytics for the organization.
  • Communication & Collaboration : Foster collaboration and excellent communication in diverse work environments, with a focus on problem-solving and building bridges.
  • Organizational Change : Contribute to the organization’s growth and transformation through effective HR strategies.
  • Experience in Engineering Companies : Previous experience in engineering environments and navigating organizational change is a plus.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively in diverse environments.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to understand and manage organizational change in scaling businesses.
  • Previous experience in engineering companies or transitioning organizations is highly beneficial.
