Job Description:

As an HR Partner in the Builder Experience Team (BeXT), you will play a key role in supporting Builders and managers through engagement, technology, and innovation.

This 8-month fixed-term role focuses on enhancing the Builder experience. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Influencing change and fostering an inclusive environment for Builders
• Problem-solving and influencing across diverse populations
• Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
• Applying HR fundamentals
• Partnering with leaders at various levels to develop strategies focused on the Builder experience

BeXT delivers personalized support to AWS Builders by collaborating with business leaders and HR teams to implement HR strategies related to talent, performance, compensation, and employee relations. You will provide support to Builders and their leaders, requiring flexibility, HR expertise, consulting skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams and regions.

Typical daily tasks include:

• Consulting, coaching, and developing leadership with empathy and judgment
• Promoting inclusion and advocating for Builders’ needs
• Managing escalations and supporting queries with discretion
• Promoting technology and self-service adoption
• Collaborating across organizational levels and conducting workplace investigations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Labor Relations, Business, Psychology, or related field
• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in a matrixed organization
• Coaching, consulting, and employee relations experience
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Work Councils or employee representative bodies
