As an HR Operations Manager, you will be joining the HR Operations team, which consists of 12 members, including 5 responsible for our French market. Your primary goal is to contribute to Qonto's success by delivering an exceptional employee experience to all our team members.

You will report to our Lead People Operations. As a member of the HR Operations France team, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day HR matters of our Qonto team members in France, working closely with other HR Operations Managers and Jeannie, our Payroll Manager.

Your role involves managing HR-related matters and becoming a strong partner for the entire team by: Being the main point of contact for a specific scope, addressing daily queries from Qontoers, managers, and providers; Serving as the reference person for HR-related topics, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, legal, HR policies and processes, HRIS, and more.

Please note that this opportunity is based in France and is not available for full remote work. According to our remote policy, you can work remotely up to 2 days a week, but we expect you to be onsite in Paris for at least 3 days a week.

As an HR Operations Manager at Qonto, you will contribute to:

Daily Operations: As the primary point of contact for employees and managers, your role is to ensure a seamless onboarding and offboarding process. You will address HR queries, ensure compliance with HR rules, and maintain accurate people data in our HRIS, Workday. You will also prepare payroll runs with support from our Payroll Manager and HRIS team.

HR Policies and Processes: You will serve as the go-to expert for HR policies, procedures, and contracts, maintaining and evolving them according to regulations and company practices. HR Projects: You will contribute to enhancing our working methods and HR policies, supporting HR cycles such as performance reviews, and collaborating on HRIS initiatives.

About your future manager

She is our Lead People Operations in France, with experience in start-ups and scale-ups across European markets. Elise has been with Qonto for 6 years, leading the People Operations team, bringing expertise in HR, legal, and payroll topics, and supporting your growth and learning.

About You

Experience: You have 5 years of experience as an HR specialist or generalist.
Mastery: You possess strong knowledge of HR and legal topics, are hands-on, and capable of managing administrative HR tasks. Experience with Workday is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
Teamwork: You build strong, trust-based relationships within teams.
Communication: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both French and English, and open to working on various HR projects.
