Job summary

ITQ is seeking an HR Officer to support employees and managers across France and Luxembourg, with occasional Belgian support. You will manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliant and high-quality HR service.

Your day-to-day work will be varied, with a mix of operational HR responsibilities and employee support, acting as a trusted point of contact for staff and managers.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in an operational or generalist HR role.
• Good understanding of employment law, ideally in FR, LU and BE.

Responsibilities

• HR administration: Prepare employment contracts and amendments, manage employee files, joiners and leavers, absences and employment certificates.
• Payroll and benefits: Coordinate payroll processes with providers and administer employee benefits.
• Recruitment and onboarding: Support recruitment activities, source candidates, organise interviews and onboarding of new employees.
• HR systems and data: Maintain HR information systems and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
• Employee support: Respond to questions about HR procedures, policies and benefits.
• Employment compliance: Help ensure compliance with legal/regulatory requirements in FR/LU/BE, with local nuances.
• HR projects: Support regional HR initiatives and process improvements.

How you’ll make your impact

As HR Officer, you will play an important role in supporting our employees and managers across France and Luxembourg, with occasional support for HR activities in Belgium. You will manage day-to-day HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth and reliable HR processes, compliance with local requirements, and a high-quality HR service. Working closely with the regional People & Culture team, you will help create a positive and consistent employee experience across the region.

Your day-to-day work will be varied and people-focused, with a mix of operational HR responsibilities and employee support. You’ll be a key point of contact for employees and managers, helping them navigate HR processes and ensuring everything runs smoothly throughout the employee lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• HR administration: Prepare employment contracts and amendments, manage employee files, joiners and leavers, absences and employment certificates.
• Payroll and benefits: Coordinate payroll processes with the relevant providers and administer employee benefits.
• Recruitment and onboarding: Support recruitment activities, actively source candidates, organise interviews and coordinate the onboarding of new employees.
• HR systems and data: Maintain HR information systems and ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of data.
• Employee support: Respond to questions about HR procedures, internal policies and employee benefits.
• Employment compliance: Help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in France and Luxembourg, and in Belgium when needed, taking local requirements into account.
• HR projects: Support the implementation of regional HR initiatives and the continuous improvement of processes.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a degree or qualification in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, as well as solid experience in an operational or generalist HR role.
• You have a good understanding of employment law and HR best practices, ideally in France, Luxembourg and Belgium.
• You are organised, thorough and autonomous, and enjoy keeping track of multiple priorities at the same time.
• You are confident using IT tools and HR information systems, with a strong eye for detail and data accuracy.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and know how to build trusted relationships with employees and managers.
• You can handle sensitive employee relations matters with tact, sound judgement and discretion, while always respecting confidentiality.
• You have a strong service mindset, a pragmatic approach and a genuine desire to find practical, solutions-oriented ways forward.
• You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
