Job Opportunity: Recruitment Coordinator at ESRF

Join the NEXTSTEP project, a doctoral training programme supported by Horizon Europe MSCA COFUND, aimed at fostering innovative research in analytical X-ray, neutron, and electron microscopy techniques at European Research Infrastructures (RIs) ESRF, ILL, and e-DREAM. The project spans 60 months, recruiting 36 PhD students in two calls in February 2025 and February 2026.

Under the supervision of the ESRF Head of Recruitment & Careers management service, you will coordinate the NEXTUP recruitment calls and oversee the recruitment and onboarding of 15 PhD students at ESRF.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Recruitment: Manage publication of calls, provide advice to applicants, verify eligibility, organize and conduct interviews (virtually and on-site if needed), select candidates, notify results, and handle redress procedures.
  2. Onboarding: Support the integration of new PhD students.
  3. Assist in the implementation of the training programme.
Profile Requirements
  • Master’s degree or equivalent (300 ECTS) in Human Resources or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a recruitment role.
  • Strong team spirit, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (working language at ESRF) and good knowledge of French.
