Une entreprise dynamique cherche un Manager des Ressources Humaines & Bureau pour diriger l'excellence opérationnelle dans une équipe entièrement à distance. Vous serez responsable de l'attraction des talents, de la gestion des processus RH et de la promotion d'une culture de travail à distance, en veillant à ce que les systèmes s'adaptent à la croissance.

Qualifications

Job Description:

Job Title: Human Resources & Office Manager
Location: Fully remote - must have remote-first experience and French labour law knowledge
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview: Seeking a proactive and strategic Human Resources & Office Manager to lead HR and operational excellence in a remote-first team. You will shape culture, manage core HR processes, and ensure systems and strategies scale with growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Attract and retain top talent through effective recruitment strategies
  2. Lead performance management and promote employee well-being
  3. Design and implement career development frameworks
  4. Manage and automate HR administration processes (e.g., payroll, expenses, attendance, travel)
  5. Ensure compliance with labour regulations in a multicultural, international environment
  6. Define and monitor HR KPIs such as gender balance, equal pay, and employee engagement
  7. Coach and empower managers to grow as leaders
  8. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
  9. Implement and manage HR tools and platforms suitable for a distributed workforce
  10. Manage end-to-end payroll operations in collaboration with finance/accounting partners

Office & Culture Management:

  1. Foster and maintain a thriving remote-first work culture
  2. Organise internal virtual and hybrid events to support connection and morale
  3. Act as a key point of contact for remote operations and asynchronous communication practices
  4. Promote digital efficiency and collaboration, especially through platforms like Slack, Notion, and HRIS tools

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both French and English (a third language is a plus)
  • Strong knowledge of French labour law (Master’s degree or PhD preferred)
  • Based in Paris, with the ability to support remote-first operations
  • Proven experience in an HR role within an early-stage startup (Series A–B, under 100 employees)
  • Must have experience working in a remote-only or remote-first environment
  • Experience implementing HR tools and systems in a startup context
  • Strong digital operations expertise, with knowledge of tools like Slack
  • Experience managing payroll and administrative processes
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office

Nice to Have:

  • Background in recruitment or agency experience
  • Scientific training in biology, biotechnology, or computer science
  • Coaching certification or leadership development experience
