Job Description:

Our People Function works across brands, geographies, and cultures to support one global Maersk. As HR Workforce Manager in the Frontline People Organisation, you will support our new warehouse in Denain and play a vital role in our success by supporting employees with HR queries to ensure a great employee experience in every interaction with HR.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as HR Workforce Manager includes:

  • Handling HR policies and procedures queries, understanding needs, investigating options, and partnering with HR colleagues to resolve issues.
  • Supporting warehouse leaders with absence, discipline, and grievances cases.
  • Collaborating with managers to develop and implement a site engagement plan.
  • Using Workday to manage HR cases and ensure timely actions.
  • Supporting employees with benefits and policy queries, seeking solutions, and partnering with HR colleagues.
  • Training employees and managers in HR systems and service delivery.
  • Supporting HR cycle activities like hiring, onboarding, performance management, job moves, and exits.
  • Implementing communication plans to keep employees informed via various channels.
  • Ensuring HR documentation accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness, including employee records, policies, and audits.

What we are looking for

We seek passionate individuals dedicated to delivering a great employee experience, with empathy and care for employee queries.

Required skills and experience include:

  • Knowledge of French labor laws and HR principles, practices, and compliance.
  • Experience resolving employee relations issues.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and verbal).
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems is an asset.
