Job Description
This role involves ensuring the client group has the right talent to execute division strategy and achieve business results. Responsibilities include maintaining employee productivity, fostering a positive work environment aligned with Corning's Values, and supporting HR service delivery in line with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize current and future talent requirements affecting operational objectives.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to develop an employee value proposition to attract and retain talent.
- Address talent gaps by ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Implement development plans to close talent gaps efficiently.
- Deploy performance management and rewards processes to motivate and retain top performers.
- Hold managers accountable for maintaining a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with HR leadership to define human capital priorities and support needs.
- Utilize HR shared services effectively to support transformational goals.
- Work closely with regional and division HR leaders to standardize processes and support division objectives.
- Coach management on programs to foster a positive work environment.
Experiences and Education - Required
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, preferably in manufacturing and international settings.
- Experience in manufacturing environments, plant locations with 100+ employees, team leadership, and designing organizational structures.
- Strong data analysis and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven success in deploying global HR processes.
Skills
- Fluent in English and French, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of French labor law and metallurgy CBA (preferred).
- Understanding of payroll processes.
