Labor

Under the supervision of the General Manager and supervising the full HR team, the HR Manager takes full responsibility for handling the Human resources for Newrest.

  • HR management: Responsibility for the entire employee lifecycle - from recruitment to departure.
  • Recruitment: Planning and implementation of job advertisements, interviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Employee support: Contact person for all HR-related questions and advising managers on employment law issues.
  • Personnel development: Identification of training needs and organization of further training measures to promote employee skills.
  • CSR & local content: Implementation of local strategy and policy regarding HR matters.
  • HR strategy: Developing and implementing strategies to promote the corporate culture and goals.
  • Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor law requirements and internal guidelines.
  • HR administration: Managing and maintaining personnel files, contracts, and payroll in collaboration with the accounting department.
  • Reporting: Creating HR reports and KPIs to analyze and optimize HR processes.

Perfil

  • Training/studies: Degree or Bachelor in business administration, personnel management, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience: Several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in an international environment.
  • Experience in transfer of staff, mobilization of a large number of staff, and management of unions would be appreciated.
  • Sound knowledge of local labor law and payroll accounting.
  • Experience with HR software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement operationally.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Dutch and English.
