About the role
General Mission:
The position holder leads the human resources (HR) function for the production site, aligned with the plant's priorities and the division's strategic HR objectives (Talent, Employee Engagement, Workforce Development, Diversity).
Location: Pont Audemer
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract of 5 months – possibility of permanent integration into the Group with geographic mobility
Key Partners:
- Manager: HR Manager France
- Team: Site HR team
- Other relations: Site Director and local Executive Committee members, HR Managers from other French sites, VP Business, VP HR Business Partners
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and support managers and employees on all HR and employment topics throughout the employee lifecycle (attract, recruit, onboard, develop, retain, and exit)
- Ensure effective HR services, practices, and administration on the site, compliant with laws, regulations, policies, standards, and agreements.
- As a member of the plant's leadership team, develop and implement local HR strategies, services, and initiatives aligned with the Group's strategy.
- Collaborate with local managers to develop talent strategies addressing immediate and long-term staffing needs.
- Assist managers in identifying training and development needs, plan and sometimes deliver local training sessions.
- Establish a strong relationship with local unions and employee representatives, including dialogue, participation, and communication, and coordinate negotiations as needed.
- Ensure data quality in global and local systems to guarantee high-quality HR processes.
- Supervise payroll activities and benefits administration.
- Ensure effective internal communication within the site.
- Coordinate engagement surveys: organize on-site surveys, collect results, and propose action plans to boost employee engagement.
- Develop policies to ensure the organization is diverse and inclusive regarding age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, etc.
- Plan and execute employer branding and community involvement activities, including collaboration with selected schools and universities.

- Contribute to a safety culture,
- Collaborate with site management to build employee engagement, improve collaboration, and retain talent,
- Create and maintain an inclusive environment, participate in the national HR community, and proactively contribute to projects.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience as an HR Manager or Generalist in a production or industrial environment
Skills
- Strong interest and solid experience in implementing and developing HR processes and practices in an industrial environment
- Thorough knowledge of local legislation and regulations
- Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities and taking measures to develop processes and working methods
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-evolving environment
- Positive attitude, business-oriented, pragmatic problem solver
- Responsible and ethical behavior
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and interest in using technology for effective HR work
- Excellent communication skills in French and proficiency in English
