Responsibilities

• Support the HR Ops team daily on legal questions related to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, performance management, and offboarding
• Review HR legal documentation including employment contracts, amendments, and termination paperwork
• Lead discussions or negotiations with legal implications
• Assist VP HR in managing collective labor relations (with CSE and union representatives), preparing for and attending meetings

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a Labor Law Associate in a Tier 1 law firm
• Strong legal skills and reasoning
• Autonomous, organized, and structured
• Adaptable, reactive, proactive, and pragmatic
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills in French and English
• Willing to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
