About this role :
The Human Resources (HR) Advisor provides experienced first-line HR support to employees across the regional sites addressing HR queries across the employee lifecycle managing employee relations issues and guiding employees through HR policies and procedures. This role serves as a trusted resource within the company offering employees of our Europe offices (whether they are working on-site hybrid and / or home-based) and their line managers knowledgeable advice and fostering a supportive workplace environment.
Accountabilities :
Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and their managers in the countries seeking guidance on complex HR topics workplace issues and company policies.
Be the employer representative of CSE (Comit Social et conomique / Social and Economic Committee) in France and other relevant committees as required among the locations covered.
Provide HR operational administration support to the employee life cycle (including contracts onboarding changes during the life cycle performance management & development and offboarding) with the company partnering with the relevant HRBP Payroll People Services CoEs and other functions where needed.
Manage employee relations matters within the site including assisting with conflict resolution performance discussions and sensitive workplace topics.
Advise employees and managers on HR policies and procedures ensuring understanding and compliance across the sites.
Conduct investigations and assist in the resolution of employee grievances disciplinary actions and escalated queries collaborating with site leadership where necessary.
Collaborate with the Senior HR Manager UK & EMEA to improve policies and practices across the countries contributing insights from frontline interactions with site employees.
Maintain and update HR documentation and policies as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) ensuring they are current accessible and aligned with regulatory and organisational standards.
Support HR initiatives related to employee engagement culture and retention by providing feedback and implementing programmes at the appropriate level.
Work with local legal partners to mitigate risk in relation to labour relations supported by the Senior HR Manager UK & EMEA.
Collaborate with / manage third party stakeholders as appropriate including Works Councils Unions any other stakeholders for meeting local compliance requirements HR-related vendors etc.
Support project work of the broader UK & EMEA region where needed.

Skills and Experience :
Bachelors degree in HR or at least 3 years of experience in HR generalist role.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR processes with full knowledge of methodologies processes practices and atypical issues within human resources and in compliance with the employment-related legislation of France is a must. Having working knowledge of other locations covered would be a plus.
Ability to operate independently though may seek guidance on atypical or complex HR Generalist conflicts or issues.
Strong accountability for own targets with effective time management skills and agility to adapt to changing circumstances.
Good analytical skills with a proactive approach for frequently conducting detailed analysis and investigation to identify customised solutions for conflicts or problems flag potential risks determine best options and suggest improvements to existing methods.
Strong communication skills for working well with cross-functional teams to address and resolve shared issues collaborate on processes or conflict resolution and interpret or clarify information to enhance understanding.
Fluent in French and English.
