Hourly Pay

  • $15.00 per hour as Host
  • $10.00 per hour as Server Assistant, with generous tips

Who We Are Looking For

Revival is seeking a friendly Host / Server Assistant to fill two key positions. If you have the desire to enhance our guests' memorable dining experience beginning the moment they make a reservation or walk through the door, then we encourage you to apply today.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Host

  • Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ascertaining their dining needs.
  • Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
  • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
  • Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.

Server Assistant

  • Assist with table setup by ensuring clean and properly arranged utensils, napkins, and tablecloths.
  • Greet all guests at their table immediately and obtain their choice of bottled or tap water.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly. Check on tables periodically to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist servers with refilling beverages and water, resetting & bussing tables. Assist the waitstaff with any additional tasks as required.
  • Update Host on the status of tables throughout the shift.

General

  • Perform opening and closing duties, as needed.
  • Perform sidework for opening, during shift, and closing as appropriate.
  • Help fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.

Note that this is not an inclusive list and team members are at times asked to assist with other tasks to best serve the business. Other tasks may be assigned by the Revival General Manager or other managers.

Education/Experience

Job Requirements:

  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Prior hospitality experience is preferred but not required.

Physical & Mental Requirements

  • Maintain regular and punctual on-site attendance with the ability to work a flexible schedule which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays when business requires.
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear for long periods of time. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Frequently required to use hands and arms to reach and handle. Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate computer systems.
  • Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing and sometimes stressful work environment.

Work Environment

  • Revival is an indoor sixty-two-seat dinner-only restaurant and small venue event space. Will occasionally work in other areas of the property including other restaurant/banquet outlets, storage areas, kitchens, and guest areas.
  • The work environment includes high guest contact; may involve varying conditions and circumstances with guests, staff, visitors, etc.
