• Good track record with high/medium voltage cable work.
• Experience in offshore wind projects.

• Identify offshore tasks post installation and coordinate with design team.
• Manage technical clarifications and oversee offshore contracts.
• Prepare and coordinate offshore permit to works requests.

Hook-Up Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Europe.

Hook-Up Engineer required for a major Offshore Wind Farm Developer based in Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Identify the various tasks to be performed offshore after topside installation, together with Design team.
• Ensure with Clients design office that material and documentation (drawing, installation procedure) is available.
• Write or modify technical specification for offshore hook-up works.
• Manage the technical clarification and technical interfaces for offshore works.
• Follow the offshore works sub-contracts : interfaces, documentations, execution.
• Coordinate the risk assessment for offshore hook-up activities.
• Complete the Inspections and Tests Plans for the quality control of offshore works.
• Identify the Material requested for each task.
• Coordinate the packing lists, materiel delivery and/or material shipping to the offshore platform.
• Control the readiness of the platform foundation and topside before sail away (Sea fastening).
• Estimate the duration and number of personnel requested of each task offshore.
• Ensure plan each task within the “offshore operational schedule”.
• Liaise with logistic coordinator for delivery on site of the requested equipment.
• Ensure with the project team resources availability to perform the task.
• Prepare and coordinate offshore Permit to works requests.

Requirements:

• Technical knowledge and experience : mechanical and electrical.
• Similar experience in offshore wind.
• Good track record on High / Medium voltage cable work.
• Previous experience in welding (preferable).
• Valid offshore medical certificate.
• Valid GWO Basic Safety Training certificate.
