Airbus Helicopters in Toulouse seeks a Certification & CQE to lead airworthiness for helicopters. You will architect certification strategies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with FAR29/CS29 throughout design changes.

Significant engineering experience in aerospace certification is required. You will drive verification, manage interfaces with Chief Engineering and engineers, and support DOA approvals, with a focus on integrity and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Significant engineering experience, ideally in aerospace certification (FAR29/CS29 and/or FAR25/CS25 knowledge is a major asset).
• Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple interfaces.
• Rigor, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsabilités

• Certification Strategy: Define and establish the Certification Program by identifying the applicable certification basis and the necessary Means of Compliance for each project.
• Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Coordinate stakeholders across chief engineering, system design responsibles, experts, customer support, and flight test personnel, ensuring harmonization of strategy with Certification Verification Engineers.
• Management and Deployment: Plan, manage, and track progress of compliance activities; resolve roadblocks and ensure on-time delivery of certifications.
• Official Validation: Review and release compliance documentation, consolidate results of the compliance demonstration, and declare compliance at helicopter level.
• DOA Approval: Exercise the DOA privilege for approval of design changes.

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Helicopters Certification & CQE (H/F) to join our Certification Technical Directorate Team based in Toulouse, France. Join the Certification and Airworthiness team in Toulouse and become the architect of airworthiness compliance for our helicopters. As a Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE), you don't just verify rules : you spearhead the entire process, ensuring that every new design change respects the stringent airworthiness requirements (FAR29/CS29). Responsibilities

• Certification Strategy: Define and establish the Certification Program (CP) by identifying the applicable certification basis and the necessary Means of Compliance for each project.
• Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Coordinate a multitude of high-level stakeholders: Chief Engineering, System Design Responsibles, Experts, Customer Support, Flight Test Pilots & Engineers, etc. You ensure the harmonization of the strategy with all relevant Certification Verification Engineers.
• Management and Deployment: Plan, manage, and track the progress of compliance activities. You resolve roadblocks and ensure the on-time delivery of certifications.
• Official Validation: Review and release all compliance documentation, consolidate the results of the compliance demonstration, and declare compliance at the helicopter level.
• DOA Approval: Exercise the DOA (Design Organization Approval) privilege for the approval of design changes.

Your boarding pass
