Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, France seeks a Helicopters Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE) to drive airworthiness compliance for helicopter designs. You will spearhead the certification program, align with regulatory bases, and collaborate across engineering, test, and support teams to ensure timely approvals. This role offers cross-functional impact and growth within Airbus Helicopters.

Qualifications

Significant engineering experience, preferably in aerospace certification (FAR29/CS29 and/or FAR25/CS25 knowledge is a major asset).
Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple interfaces.
Rigor, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Responsabilités

Certification Strategy: Define and establish the Certification Program by identifying the applicable certification basis and the necessary Means of Compliance for each project.
Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, system design, experts, customer support, and flight test personnel to harmonize strategies.
Management and Deployment: Plan, manage, and track compliance activities; resolve roadblocks and ensure on-time certification deliveries.
Official Validation: Review and release compliance documentation and declare compliance at the helicopter level.
DOA Approval: Exercise the DOA privilege for the approval of design changes.
