Airbus in Toulouse is seeking a Helicopters Certification & Qualification Engineer (CQE) to join the Certification Technical Directorate Team. You will lead airworthiness compliance for helicopters, ensuring new designs meet FAR29/CS29 standards and coordinate across engineering, system design, and customer support.

This strategic, cross-functional role offers broad visibility into products and technologies at Airbus Helicopters, with opportunities for development and international mobility.

Qualifications

• Define and establish the Certification Program (CP) for projects.
• Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, design, specialists, and customers to harmonize strategy.
• Plan, manage, and track compliance activities to ensure on-time certification delivery.
• Review and release compliance documentation and declare helicopter-level compliance.
• Exercise DOA privileges for approval of design changes.

Responsabilités

• Certification Strategy: Define and establish the Certification Program (CP) by identifying the applicable certification basis and the necessary Means of Compliance for each project.
• Cross-Functional Project Leadership: Coordinate a multitude of high-level stakeholders: Chief Engineering, System Design Responsibles, Experts, Customer Support, Flight Test Pilots & Engineers, etc.
• Management and Deployment: Plan, manage, and track the progress of compliance activities. You resolve roadblocks and ensure the on-time delivery of certifications.
• Official Validation: Review and release all compliance documentation, consolidate the results of the compliance demonstration, and declare compliance at the helicopter level.
• DOA Approval: Exercise the DOA (Design Organization Approval) privilege for the approval of design changes.
