Health Club Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

1. Act as an ambassador of the hotel both inside and outside the workplace.
2. Maintain a clean and well-organized working area.
3. Ensure a safe working environment by using appropriate materials, equipment, and supplies.
4. Use telephone etiquette in accordance with Sofitel standards.
5. Attend to all guests approaching the Fitness Centre, respecting hotel standards and procedures.
6. Provide a warm welcome to all guests and ensure they enjoy their stay.
7. Personally greet and escort guests rather than just pointing out directions.
8. Respect guest privacy and confidentiality of information.
9. Handle guest complaints professionally, resolving and recording them to ensure guest satisfaction.
10. Consult the manager for advice in serious cases or when approvals are needed.
11. Share daily activity highlights with the manager, including guest opportunities.
12. Be aware of and report all guest comments or complaints.
13. Keep track of VIP guests visiting or staying at the hotel.
14. Implement fitness programs and assessment procedures.
15. Participate in all training organized by Sofitel.
16. Follow daily checklists diligently.
17. Report equipment malfunctions to the Assistant Manager and follow up accordingly.
18. Assist in maintaining the gymnasium area, including floors, mirrors, and fitness machines.
19. Regularly check the tennis court area to assist guests and ensure cleanliness and order.
20. Comply with and reinforce the hotel's safety regulations and procedures.
21. Assist clients with their exercise regimens, providing information on exercises, proper techniques, health advice, and nutrition.
22. Maintain and service all equipment related to or assigned to the department, following equipment manuals.
23. Be flexible with working hours.
24. Project a positive and motivated attitude.
25. Be fully trained in first aid procedures.
26. Oversee operations in the absence of supervisors.
