This position requires relocation to Norway.

  • Lead and oversee all Health & Safety (HS) activities, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve HS plans, systems, and fatality prevention measures.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coach and develop HS team members and promote a strong safety culture across the plant.
  • Manage emergency preparedness, crisis communication, and regulatory reporting.
  • Role reports to Plant manager
Key Qualifications / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, engineering, or related field.
  • Qualified Health & Safety Professional with at least 10 years’ HS experience, including 5+ years in a similar industrial leadership role.
  • Strong track record in implementing HS systems, driving cultural change, and coaching teams.
  • Able to build effective relationships with regulators, unions, contractors, and community stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English.
  • Located or willing to relocate to Norway
