Jobtailor is seeking an experienced HSE expert in France to plan and deliver safety training, conduct site risk assessments, and provide practical improvements across client sites. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and lead safety culture initiatives while collaborating with ERM teams.

The role requires strong technical expertise in machine safety, LOTO, ATEX, and working at height, combined with excellent French and English communication.

Qualifications

• Completed studies or comparable training with a focus on occupational safety, health, environmental protection or sustainability.

Responsabilités

• Plan, implement and evaluate occupational safety and health protection training and workshops for customers.
• Conduct on-site, risk-based assessments to identify critical operational health and safety risks.
• Provide technical expertise and practical improvement solutions for machine safety, hazardous energy control (LOTO), ATEX, work at height, confined space entry, contractor management and permit-to-work systems.
• Identify risks, conduct risk assessments and support preventive measures to minimize accidents and environmental impacts.
• Advise and support clients on implementing occupational safety and health protection standards and legal regulations.
• Support clients in identifying, assessing and managing critical operational risks and developing risk reduction strategies aligned with industry best practices.
• Regularly review and update security policies and procedures for compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
• Develop client relationships and identify opportunities with existing and new clients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across ERM.
• Travel regularly to domestic customers.

Requirements

• Completed studies or comparable training with a focus on occupational safety, health, environmental protection or sustainability
• Proven experience as an H&S expert with in-depth knowledge of legal regulations and industry standards in occupational safety and environmental protection
• Experience conducting training and workshops and implementing safety cultures in companies
• Strong technical expertise in operational health and safety, including machine safety, hazardous energy control (LOTO), ATEX, work at height, confined spaces, contractor safety and permit-to-work systems
• Analytical thinking and ability to identify complex problems and develop effective solutions
• Experience in construction site H&S management and oversight considered an advantage
• Team player with a passion for environmental protection and sustainable business development
• Excellent written and spoken French and English skills
