What You’ll Do

• Technical accounting expert within the Group
  • Serve as the subject matter expert within the Group for all accounting judgments and complexities, with a particular focus on:
  • Revenue accounting applying IFRS 15 to complex customer contracts
  • Accounting for capital projects applying IAS 16/38
  • Accounting for the Group’s M&A activity, including acquisition accounting and accounting for divestments
  • Accounting advisory with commercial, operational and other teams in advance of contracts being agreed to advise on accounting implications of proposed agreements
  • Preparing accounting analysis to serve as the Group’s accounting papers to justify and support the Group’s accounting conclusions
• Ownership of accounting policies of the Eutelsat Group
  • Maintain and update the Group Consolidation Manual
  • Lead on the evaluation and assessment of the Group’s accounting policies in response to changes in accounting standards and other developments
• Managing and working effectively with external advisors and auditors
  • Proactively and effectively managing external auditors (including where relevant across the Group’s global jurisdictions)
  • Where relevant, managing and working productively with the Group’s external advisors
• Contribute to the production of the Group’s external reporting, including annual and interim financial statements
  • Provide technical guidance on reporting requirements, including information required for disclosure in the financial statements

• Strong communication and presentation skills working with multiple peer groups and levels of management
