Qualifications

  • Minimum de 5 ans d'expérience en ventes, idéalement à l'international.
  • Connaissance du secteur du bétail, surtout la volaille et les porcs, fortement recommandée.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et à prendre des décisions commerciales.

LANXESS, a leading specialty chemicals company committed to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, is currently seeking a high-caliber candidate for the position of Head of Sales MEA – Disinfection Business Line, Material Protection Products BU (MPP BU).

Our Biosecurity Solutions offer comprehensive protection against pathogens and vectors, significantly reducing the need for antibiotics in agriculture. This not only enhances animal welfare but also ensures a strong return on investment for producers.

This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced professional with a solid technical and sales background in the livestock industry to join our international team and drive growth in the Middle East and Africa region. The successful candidate will demonstrate individual excellence, strong communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.

? Location: based in EU – preferably: France, Germany, UK, | Industry: Chemicals | Job Type: Full-Time| Remote set up

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage customers and channel partners across the MEA region to achieve or exceed the sales budget,
  • Identify, propose, and implement new commercial strategies, negotiate and manage distribution contracts,
  • Select and develop new channel partners, lead coordination with internal departments (Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Technical, Product Management) to support new product launches in new countries or with new partners,
  • Lead the launch of new products in alignment with the global LBS strategy,
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow sales in the region,
  • Provide accurate forecasts and maintain reporting in the CRM system, regularly report customer interactions, actions, and events,
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, markets, competition, applications, pricing, and trends,
  • Provide product and application advice tailored to customer needs,
  • Deliver effective presentations and technical support, with or without the support of technical marketing,

Skills & Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience, ideally in a regional or international role
  • Experience in the livestock industry (especially poultry and swine) is a strong advantage,
  • Able to work independently and make business decisions to drive sales and profitability,
  • Good knowledge of the MEA region, including cultural awareness and market dynamics,
  • Familiar with industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer needs,
  • Understanding of biosecurity and technical applications in animal health or feed is a plus,
  • Charismatic and persuasive, with strong listening skills to identify challenges and opportunities,
  • Fluent in English and Arabic; French is a strong plus,
  • Comfortable using tools like Excel and CRM systems for planning and reporting,
  • Willing to travel frequently across the MEA region,
  • Highly self-motivated, responsible, and takes ownership of tasks,
