Overview

The role

Atlantico is looking for a Head of Sales who will build on the site's editorial reputation to expand its commercial operations. The position will encompass all aspects of revenue generation with an initial focus on developing direct relationships with advertising companies and agencies to sell display and branded content packages.

The successful candidate will work closely with the publication's founder and director Jean-Sebastien Ferjou to identify opportunities and propose creative solutions for clients that fit within the Atlantico philosophy. The role demands a hands-on approach to attracting and retaining clients but also includes oversight of relationships with commercial partners such as programmatic advertising providers and others. The Head of Sales will ultimately also be responsible for developing Atlantico's subscription business, with support from Jean-Sebastien and other colleagues. Other potential revenue streams such as events and bespoke services will also form part of the remit.

  • Attract and retain clients; oversee relationships with commercial partners such as programmatic advertising providers.
  • Develop Atlantico's subscription business with support from colleagues.
  • Explore and develop additional revenue streams, including events and bespoke services.
