On behalf of a world-famous and premium Solar PV manufacturer, AD Energy is in search of a Sales Director - France. My client is a household name in the Solar systems market and continues to grow at a very fast pace.
The France region remains a significant market in 2025 and beyond. With a growing team already in place, this is an exciting phase of growth for the business. We require a dynamic and commercially-minded professional to help boost and expand their market share.
The Sales Director will be responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining prosperous business relationships with medium and large wholesalers, EPCs / Developers, and Utilities, not only in France but across the French-speaking regions as well. The focus is on growth and increasing market share.
This is a permanent employment opportunity based mainly in a home-office setting. The package includes a competitive salary, a strong bonus, a company car, working tools, healthcare, and pension.
Your Duties :
- Implement the regional sales business plan in France and the wider area.
- Monitor market activities and trends to evaluate and adapt sales strategies in France.
- Stay informed about the solar market, identify, and pursue sales opportunities in the region.
- Establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs.
- Coordinate pre-sales activities and secure large, multi-MW deals for equipment supply.
- Create sales and technical quotations for clients.
- Build new client relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
- Lead, develop, and expand a team of top sales professionals.
- Expand your network within the solar PV market, including funders, consultants, and developers.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the solutions and act as a brand advocate.
Your Skills and Experience :
- Hold a technical degree in Energy, Power, Electronics, Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum of 7 years of technical sales and commercial leadership experience within the France Solar PV market.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
- Strong knowledge of solar and photovoltaic technology.
- Experience in sales management with distributors and installers.
- Established network with EPCs, Developers, and funders.
- Excellent technical aptitude, with the ability to process and explain technical information to clients.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Willingness to travel across France.
- Engaging and charismatic personality.
- Proven ability to close deals and negotiate effectively.
- Business-oriented, proactive, and independent worker.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
