On behalf of a world-famous and premium Solar PV manufacturer, AD Energy is in search of a Sales Director - France. My client is a household name in the Solar systems market, and continues to grow at a very fast pace.

The France region continues to be a huge market in 2025 and beyond, and with a growing team already, this is an exciting growth phase for the business. Hence, we require a dynamic and commercially-minded professional to help boost and grow the market share they already have.

The Sales Director will be tasked to establish, develop, and maintain prosperous business relations with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs / Developers, as well as Utilities, not only in France, but across the French-speaking regions too. This is focused on growth and obtaining market share.

This position will be a permanent France employment opportunity and will be based mainly in a home-office. On offer is a competitive salary, strong bonus, company car, working tools, health care, and pension.

Your Duties:

  1. Facilitate in executing the regional sales business plan in France and the wider area.
  2. Stay close to market activities and trends to evaluate sales strategy in France.
  3. Keep abreast of the solar market, suggest and pursue sales opportunities in the region.
  4. Continually establish and develop business relationships with medium and large wholesalers and EPCs.
  5. Carry out and coordinate pre-sales activities, and win large, Multi MW deals for equipment supply.
  6. Create sales and technical quotations for clients.
  7. Forge business relationships with new clients and negotiate and close terms.
  8. Lead, develop, and expand a team of top-class sales professionals.
  9. Actively extend your personal and professional solar PV network with relevant partners in the solar and PV market: funders, consultants, and developers.
  10. Possess complete knowledge of the solutions and be a brand advocate.

Your Skills and Experience:

  1. Hold a technical disciplined degree: Energy, Power, Electronics, Engineering alike.
  2. Possess a minimum of 7 years technical sales and commercial leadership experience with the France Solar PV market.
  3. Must be able to demonstrate a good track record of sales target achievement, understanding of how to grow market share.
  4. A strong knowledge of the solar and photovoltaic technology array.
  5. Direct experience in sales management with distributors and installers.
  6. A strong foundation network with EPCs, Developers, and funders.
  7. A great technical aptitude, ability to process technical information and present or explain to clients.
  8. Must have fluent language ability in French and English.
  9. Must be flexible and willing to travel across the country.
  10. Show an engaging and charismatic character.
  11. Ability to close deals and business negotiations.
  12. Have a business forward and hunter-type nature.
  13. Must be highly motivated and an independent worker.
  14. Able to work in a rapid, high-pressure, and international environment.
  15. Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
