Qubit Pharmaceuticals, a French-American deeptech startup, is seeking a Head of Quantum Computing for Chemistry (M/F) to lead a multidisciplinary team in developing quantum software and chemistry applications in drug discovery.

You will collaborate with the CSO to set the roadmap, build partnerships with research centers, recruit and mentor staff, and publish results while advancing quantum algorithms for challenging chemistry problems. Hybrid Paris location with remote work two days per week.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics, quantum computing or quantum chemistry.
• Strong experience in quantum computing (algorithms) and chemistry.
• Industry experience would be a plus.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for non-specialists.
• Startup agility and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of quantum cloud platforms.
• Publications or patents in quantum computing.

Responsabilités

• Define roadmaps with the CSO and implement them.
• Establish partnerships with third-party companies and research centres.
• Lead and recruit the team as needed.
• Maintain active technology watch.
• Develop new quantum computing methods for chemistry and drug discovery.
• Advance quantum algorithms for drug discovery workflows that resist classical scaling.
• Publish research findings and file patent applications.
• Represent Qubit Pharmaceuticals at ecosystem events.
