Akuo Energy SAS is seeking a Head of Procurement to define and steer group-wide procurement, contracting and supply chain strategy across Europe and the Americas for solar, wind and energy storage projects. This senior role has a direct impact on project competitiveness and value creation.

The position requires leading an international team, optimizing spend and governance, and delivering robust procurement solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in procurement, contracting or commercial roles within renewable energy or EPC environments.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, EPC contracting and high-value negotiations with Tier-1 OEMs and contractors.
• Solid understanding of project lifecycle and project finance, including lenders' expectations.
• Demonstrated leadership in international and matrix organizations, with team management experience.
• Fluent English and French required.

Job Description

Within the EPC organizationand leadinganinternational team ofadozenprofessionals,the Head ofProcurement isaccountable for defining,steeringand governingAkuo’sGroup‑wide procurement, contracting and supply chain strategy across Europe and the Americas for solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.

This is a key leadership role withdirectimpact on project competitiveness and value creation.The role ensures the delivery of competitive,resilientandfinancially robustprocurement solutions across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development and FID through construction,commissioningand operations.

Actingas a key business partner, the Head of Procurementprovidesa consolidated view of spend, contractual commitments and supply chain flows at Grouplevel, while driving resource allocation,performanceand operational excellence.

Define andimplement agroup-wideprocurementand supply-chainstrategy aligned withbusinesspriorities,portfoliogrowthtargetsand investmentobjectives.

Providea consolidated global view of procurementspend, contractual exposure andlogisticsflows to support strategic decision-making.

Lead the prioritization of project needs and allocation of Procurement, Contracting and Supply Chain resources across regions and projects.

Establish robust governance, processes and standards ensuring consistency,scalabilityand efficiency across geographies.

Build,leadand develop a high-performing international team, fostering accountability,collaborationand capability development.

Develop strategic supplier partnerships and framework agreements to secure long-term capacity,competitivenessand execution reliability.

Performance & Operational Excellence

Drive overall procurement performance across cost, schedule,qualityand cashobjectives.

Ensure competitiveness of sourcing strategies and robustness of supply chains, securing availability of critical equipment and services.

Define and implement category strategies (WTG, PVM, BESS,Structures, Inverters,HVequipment, EPC/BOP,logistics),leveragingscale and market intelligence.

Lead global sourcing and tendering processes (RFP/RFQ) and negotiatetechnicallyandfinanciallyrobustcontracts (equipment supply, EPC/EPCM, multi-contracting, O&M,LTSAand other services).

Ensure strong risk management practices across procurement, contracting andlogistics(supplier risk, contractual exposure, market volatility).

Drive continuous improvement of methods, tools,standardsand procurement frameworks, embedding lessons learned and best practices.

Develop procurement capabilities and animate the procurement community to ensure alignment,expertiseand performance.

Cross-functionalsupport &projectcontribution

Act as a strategic partner to Engineering, Development, Construction, Finance, Legal and Operations to align procurement with project strategy, budget,and delivery timelines.

Operate through regional and category leads, ensuring consistent execution and adherence to Group standards, with direct senior involvement on priority, complex or at‑risk projects.

Secure economic,contractualand supply chain performance throughout project development,executionand operations.

Ensure alignment between contractual risk allocation, insurance coverage, internalpoliciesand lender expectations to support financial close.

Support project teams and entities in supplier risk management and contract execution, including claims and performance monitoring.

Contribute to the competitiveness of bids and successful project delivery across the portfolio.

Qualifications

Minimum 15 years’ experience in procurement, contracting or commercial roles within renewable energy,infrastructureor EPC‑driven environments.

Proventrack recordin strategic sourcing, EPC contracting and high‑value negotiations withTier‑1OEMs and contractors.

Solid understanding of projectlifecycleand projectfinance(includinglenders’expectations andprofitabilityrequirements).

Demonstratedleadership,in international and matrix organizations, including team management and resource allocation.

Strong commercial acumen, analyticalmindsetand risk-based decision making.

Fluent English and Frenchrequired.
