Proposing and supervising the operating budget of the Operational Safety Group.
Driving revenues through circuit licensing business and proposing new business opportunities.
Supervising and continuously improving the circuit homologation process.
Supervising the development of simulation tools that allow conducting circuit homologation to a leading industry standard.
Supervising all the operational safety matters related to circuit and road competitions.
Supervising the operational safety requirements for circuit and road competitions, including the alternative energies operational safety.
Working closely with the FIA Sporting Departments on the improvement of rescue protocols, procedures, and equipment.
Attending FIA Commissions and Working Group / Advisory Committee meetings.
Contributing to the Safety Department communication initiatives.
Contributing to the FIA Safety Department strategy.
Supervising the secretariat of the Circuits Commission, the Closed Road Commission, and the Medical Commission.
Bachelor or Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years of motor sport experience including a minimum of 5 years in a Motor Sport Federation.
Strong knowledge of measures related to motor sport accident prevention and injury mitigation.
Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of complex technical issues using a first principles approach of engineering / science.
Race track and/or motor sport events organization experience.
Experience in the management of projects and budgets.
Ability to motivate staff members towards a shared objective.
Languages : English - business fluent necessary. Other languages a plus.
IT Tools : Microsoft proficiency and other IT tools designed to enable real-time collaboration between different locations.
