C12, based in Paris, seeks a Head of Nanofabrication to own the strategy, development and execution of nanofabrication activities from current wafer production to next generations of processes.

You will lead a growing team of engineers and technicians, collaborate with the CTO, Operations, and external partners to advance C12’s quantum device roadmap and ensure robust, scalable fabrication practices.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in nanofabrication and advanced cleanroom processes.
• Proven track record leading technical teams in complex R&D or prototyping.
• Ability to set direction, trade‑offs, and rely on domain experts.
• Experience developing new processes and building robust production disciplines.
• Strong data‑driven mindset and process learning structures.
• Pragmatic and adaptable in fast‑moving environments.
• Experience in an RTO or advanced prototyping cleanroom valued.
• Experience in quantum technologies or quantum‑device fabrication a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive C12’s nanofabrication strategy across current and next‑gen processes.
• Lead yield improvement efforts and introduce next‑gen fabrication processes into production.
• Build a robust nanofabrication organization with strong process control and documentation.
• Guide the team through technical challenges and rapid problem resolution.
• Recruit, develop and empower a growing team of engineers and technicians.
• Contribute to equipment strategy and tool procurement in collaboration with Operations.
• Collaborate with CTO, Operations, Chip Design and downstream teams to align priorities.
• Support collaborations with external foundries, RTOs and fabrication partners.

Your role at C12 Quantum Electronics

As Head of Nanofabrication at C12, you will own the strategy, development and execution of our nanofabrication activities, from current wafer production to the next generations of processes.

Key responsibilities

• You will define and drive C12’s nanofabrication strategy, balancing technology development, process maturity and production needs
• You will drive yield improvement effort and the development of next-generation fabrication processes and ensure their successful introduction into production
• You will build a robust and scalable nanofabrication organization, with strong standards around process control, documentation and data
• You will lead the team through technical challenges and process deviations, ensuring fast and structured problem resolution
• You will recruit, develop and empower a growing team of nanofabrication engineers and technicians
• You will contribute to equipment strategy and tool procurement in close collaboration with Operations
• You will work closely with the CTO, Operations, Chip Design and downstream production teams to align priorities and support C12’s technology roadmap
• You will provide technical expertise for collaborations with external foundries, RTOs and fabrication partners

About you

• You have significant experience in nanofabrication and a strong understanding of advanced cleanroom processes
• You have a proven track record of leading technical teams in complex R&D or prototyping environments
• You are able to set direction, make trade‑offs and rely effectively on domain experts
• You are equally comfortable driving new process development and building the discipline required for robust, reproducible production
• You bring a strong data‑driven mindset and know how to build the right structures for process learning and continuous improvement
• You are pragmatic, adaptable and effective in fast‑moving environments where priorities and technical challenges can evolve quickly
• Experience in an RTO, advanced prototyping cleanroom or similar environment is highly valued
• Experience in quantum technologies or quantum‑device fabrication is a plus
