Our client has developed a virtual world where players can build, own, and monetize their own voxel gaming experiences on the Ethereum blockchain.

They are creating a deeply immersive gaming virtual world metaverse where creators have the opportunity to develop games alongside major gaming companies, prestigious brands, and partners.

Position: Head of Marketplace

We are currently recruiting a Head of Marketplace to lead business development for our web-based sandbox marketplace. You will report to the COO and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for selling our technology and assets.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage daily marketplace e-commerce operations, including customer service, updates, listings, merchandising, maintenance, and performance analysis.
  2. Create a detailed calendar with processes and procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  3. Develop merchandising strategies and execute promotions to maximize growth.
  4. Plan and manage the product assortment and inventory to meet sales targets.
  5. Recommend upgrades to optimize marketplace performance and enhance functionalities, aiming to provide additional services to customers.
  6. Ensure daily site maintenance, including updating product descriptions, placement, and posting new items.
  7. Operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  8. Maintain a user experience that is best-in-class, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  9. Manage P&L, KPIs, and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
  10. Build and maintain relationships with third-party partners and customers.
  11. Lead the technology roadmap development.
  12. Oversee site performance reporting.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, including design and branding teams for asset development.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in e-commerce.
  • Familiarity with digital marketplace business development.
  • Strong analytical skills to inform business strategy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-driven and capable of thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Good negotiation skills and conviction.
  • Technical knowledge of blockchain is a plus.
  • Proven ability to promote and maintain customer satisfaction.
